Ace of Hearts
Ace's story could have ended very differently, but thankfully, it didn't. When Ace first arrived at SAVE, he was covered in bites and wounds, likely from an encounter with a fox or coyote. Today, those wounds have healed, and Ace is ready to put his past behind him and enjoy everything life has to offer.
At first, Ace may seem like a ball of energy, but once he settles into a routine, his sweet personality truly shines. He wants to be wherever his people are - when you move, he moves; when you sit, he sits. He's affectionate, loves a good cuddle, and is a wonderful, devoted companion.
Ace is happiest when he's having fun with his people. He loves car rides, hiking, playing in the water, exploring new places, and running around the yard. Give him some exercise and playtime, and he's more than happy to settle in for some quality time with his favorite humans.
He's also a smart, food-motivated boy who has made wonderful progress in his foster home. He's house trained and crate trained, and he quickly settles into a routine. He's eager to learn and loves being included in whatever his people are doing.
Ace still has some playful puppy behaviors, but that's part of his charm. He's a fun-loving rascal who enjoys life to the fullest and will thrive with a family who will give him plenty of love, activity, and attention.
Most of all, Ace is a great dog who is totally devoted to his people. He's ready to bring lots of fun, affection, loyalty, and adventure to his forever home.
After everything he's been through, Ace is ready for what he's always deserved: a family to love him, spoil him, and show him that his best chapter is still ahead.
Could Ace be your new adventure buddy and cuddle companion?
