Meet Oliver: World's Cuddliest Valedictorian. If you've been searching for a dog who's equal parts clever, cuddly, and endlessly entertaining, we'd like to introduce you to Oliver. This little terrier mix has spent the last several weeks in foster care proving that he's not just adorable-he's a star student. In less than five weeks, Oliver has mastered sit, stay, and come (even when you're out of sight!). He's crate trained, happily sleeps in his crate, and even trots right into it when you point. Potty training? He's got that figured out too. Oliver rushes outside and waits until he reaches the grass before taking care of business like the gentleman he is. When class is over, Oliver switches into full-time best friend mode. He's a champion cuddler who isn't shy about asking for snuggle time, loves a good game of tug, and is perfectly happy entertaining himself with his beloved stuffed toys. He's also a fan of brain games-hide a few treats in a knotted towel or a box full of crumpled paper, and you'll have one very happy detective on your hands. Oliver is currently recovering from a broken foot, but don't let the bandage fool you. He's feeling great and counting down the days until August 6, when the bandage comes off and he can finally show everyone just how fast those little terrier legs can go. For now, he sports a fashionable boot outside to keep everything clean and dry while he finishes healing. Like many young dogs, Oliver is still polishing a few skills. He's learning not to get quite so excited when he spots other dogs or people on walks, but when it's just the two of you, he's already capable of strolling along on a nice loose leash. With his eagerness to learn and love of making his people happy, we have no doubt he'll continue to excel. Oliver is the kind of dog who wants to be part of everything you do. Whether you're teaching him a new trick, solving treat puzzles together, or simply relaxing on the couch after a long day, he's happiest by your side. Smart, affectionate, and full of potential, Oliver is ready to graduate from foster care and earn his forever home.
