About Woodrow
Meet Woodrow: One Man's Cat, Another Man's Treasure.
Woodrow's story starts in the unlikeliest of places: an actual dumpster.
Yep. A real dumpster.
We don't know how he ended up there, and honestly, we'd rather not imagine it. If we woke up in a dumpster one day, we'd probably need a little time to process our feelings too.
So if Woodrow seems shy, reserved, or a little emotionally unavailable at first... can you really blame him?
Right now, Woodrow is taking life one cautious step at a time. He's not the cat who's going to leap into your lap five minutes after you get home. He's the cat who quietly watches from across the room, slowly learning that people can be kind, meals arrive on schedule, and cozy beds are much better than garbage bins.
The best things in life usually aren't instant, and Woodrow is no exception. He'll need a patient adopter who understands that trust isn't something you demand-it's something you earn. Every little victory with him, whether it's a curious sniff, a slow blink, or the day he decides sitting near you isn't so scary after all, will feel like winning the lottery.
Woodrow doesn't need someone to rescue him. He already survived that part. He just needs someone willing to show him that the rest of his story can be a whole lot better than the beginning.
