Meet Portland: Professional Introvert. Amateur Attention Seeker. Portland has mastered the fine art of sending mixed signals. Walk up to her? She'll act like she has absolutely no interest in you. Eye contact? Weird. Affection? Suspicious. She's a very busy kitten with very important... kitten things to pretend to do. Start walking away, though? UNACCEPTABLE. Suddenly Portland is launching herself after you like, "Wait! I wasn't done ignoring you!" She wants attention-but on her terms, and preferably after you've accepted that you'll never receive it. It's delightfully awkward, endlessly entertaining, and somehow impossibly adorable. She's equal parts shy and curious, constantly battling with herself over whether you're scary or the greatest thing that's ever happened. (The answer changes approximately every 14 seconds.) Portland came to us with her littermates, so she'd fit right into a home with another friendly feline companion who can help build her confidence and join her in her daily identity crisis.
