Meet Dulce: the sweetest little people-watcher you'll ever meet. Dulce came to SAVE after her owner experienced a medical hardship and could no longer care for her. While that change was undoubtedly difficult, Dulce hasn't let it dampen her gentle spirit. She greets everyone she meets with a happy little scamper, convinced that every new person is simply another friend she hasn't met yet. One of Dulce's favorite pastimes is climbing up into the window to keep watch over the outside world. Not looking out the window - perching in it. She'll happily spend her afternoons soaking up the sunshine, quietly observing squirrels, passing cars, birds, and anyone lucky enough to wander by. Honestly...we're beginning to suspect she's part cat. When she's not working her neighborhood watch shift, Dulce is happiest out on a leisurely walk with her nose glued to the ground. Every leaf, blade of grass, and mysterious scent deserves a thorough investigation, and she's more than happy to take her time exploring the world one sniff at a time. Dulce is simply a lovely dog. She's affectionate without being demanding, curious without being chaotic, and has a calm, easygoing nature that makes her a joy to be around.
