Meet Alma: Denmark's Most Successful Export Since Butter Cookies. Alma's story is... a little confusing. She arrived with a microchip from Denmark. Naturally, we thought we'd cracked the case. We'd simply scan the chip, call her family, and tell them their cat had somehow crossed the Atlantic. Except...the chip wasn't registered. So unless Alma has been backpacking across Europe, stowed away on a cargo ship, or is secretly an international spy who burned her identity before arriving in America, we'll never know how she got here. Frankly, we're rooting for the spy theory. What we do know is this: Alma has fully embraced the American dream. She believes everyone she meets is a potential best friend, and she's more than happy to collect pets, scratches, compliments, and admiration from absolutely anyone who makes the mistake of looking in her direction. Make eye contact? Congratulations-you've been recruited to pet the cat. Resistance is futile. She's stunning, she's sweet, and she's left her mysterious past behind in favor of a much more important mission: finding a couch to call her own. So if you've been looking for a gorgeous tortie with an accent we'll never hear, an origin story worthy of a Netflix series, and enough affection to make you feel like you've won the feline lottery, Alma is ready to become a proud American citizen...or at least a permanent resident of your living room.
