Meet Aila: ZERO Interest In Acting Her Age. Before you meet Aila, there are a few things you should know. First: whoever wrote "9 years old" on her paperwork clearly confused her with someone else. We have seen absolutely no evidence of this so-called "senior dog" behavior. This girl has zoomies. She has opinions. She has places to be. Most importantly, she has YOU to supervise. Aila has appointed herself the Director of Whatever You're Doing. Folding laundry? She's helping. Cooking dinner? Quality control. Going to the bathroom? Bold of you to think that's a solo activity. She firmly believes every task is a team sport, and she has no intention of letting you participate alone. In fact...she's suspiciously cat-like. She follows you everywhere, inserts herself into your business without permission, demands affection on her schedule (which, conveniently, is always), and somehow manages to make you feel guilty if you stop petting her for more than three seconds. So she's basically a cat...who barks... and actually likes you. We think. Despite being 9 years young, Aila hasn't gotten the memo that she's supposed to slow down. She still bounces around the yard, breaks into joyful little zoomies, and pleads-no, campaigns-for attention from anyone within eyesight. If there were an Olympic event for "convincing strangers to pet me," she'd bring home the gold.
