Meet Zola: Tiny Dog, Huge Delusions. Zola is a small terrier mix who would like you to know that she is, in fact, a large and formidable creature. Please do not bring up her actual measurements. She finds them insulting. Zola walks right up to dogs several times her size with the confidence of a wolf who owns the forest. She has apparently retained some ancestral knowledge that she was once a much larger beast, and she is NOT letting something as silly as genetics change her mind. But Zola isn't all bravado. She's incredibly sweet, affectionate, and loves being around her people. And then, without warning, someone flips the switch. ZOOMIES. Zola will fire herself up and suddenly become a tiny, furry maniac, sprinting around in circles like she's being pursued by the IRS, and boy does she owe them money. Watching her go is half the fun of knowing her. She's the perfect combination of cuddly companion and pocket-sized chaos gremlin. She'll happily hang out with you, confidently introduce herself to other dogs, and then spend five minutes doing laps around the yard for absolutely no reason. Bottom line: Zola is a TON of fun. She's got personality for days, plenty of affection to give, and enough confidence for a dog three times her size.
