Meet Libby: Cautiously Optimistic. Libby has already been a mama, survived life outside, and somehow managed to hold onto one very important belief: people might actually be pretty wonderful. Libby came to us after having kittens outside, and while she is still incredibly shy and unsure of the world around her, she has shown us that there is a remarkably sweet girl underneath all that caution. She just needs time to figure out that she's safe. And she's figuring it out faster than you might think. Cheek and chin scratches? Turns out those are pretty great. Treats? Even better. Libby is slowly discovering that the indoor life has some serious perks-and honestly, we think she's much too sweet to ever have to return to life outside. Libby isn't going to be the cat who marches into your home like she owns the place on day one. She's more of a "I'll quietly observe you from a safe distance until I decide you're trustworthy" kind of girl. But give her patience, consistency, and the freedom to warm up at her own pace, and you'll get to watch something really special happen: a scared little cat slowly becoming a beloved companion. Libby could potentially share her home with other cats, too. She'll just need a slow, intentional introduction and time to get comfortable with her new feline roommates. She doesn't need someone looking for an instant lap cat. She needs someone who understands that trust is built one tiny step at a time-and who will be there to celebrate every single one. Libby has already spent enough of her life surviving.
