Meet Eve! 🩶 This lovely grey and white tabby girl is a quiet observer with a sweet soul and a curious mind. She's the kind of kitten who prefers to sit back, size up the situation (and you), and decide for herself when the world is worth investigating. She's not one to rush into a friendship, but give her time, patience, and a little understanding, and you'll get to see her wonderful personality begin to shine. When Eve and her sister arrived at the shelter, they'd spent a long time living outdoors, so they're still learning that life with people can be a pretty wonderful thing. Because of that, she'll need a patient, cat-savvy adopter who understands that trust takes time and is willing to let her blossom at her own pace. She's not looking for someone who expects an instant lap cat; she's looking for someone who appreciates the quiet victories that come with earning a shy kitty's trust. One thing we've learned about Eve is that she really enjoys the company of other cats! She seems to draw confidence from her feline friends, and we think she'd thrive in a home with a friendly kitty companion where she can socialize without feeling like she has to be the star of the show. And if you're feeling especially generous with your love, her sister Axiom is also available! The girls aren't necessarily bonded, but they enjoy each other's company and have similar temperaments, so they could make a lovely pair. Once Eve feels safe and confident, don't let her reserved nature fool you: she's still a kitten, after all! She enjoys playtime and all the delightful little antics that come with being young. She just needs a little extra time to feel comfortable enough to let her inner kitten take the lead.
