About Cashmere
Meet Cashmere: Cat of Personality(ies)
Cashmere is a stunning, muted tortie who comes with the full tortie experience. And when we say full experience, we mean ALL of it. Affectionate? Absolutely. Confident? Extremely. Opinionated? You bet. Sass? Oh, she's got that too-and she's not exactly keeping it in a drawer.
Cashmere is a people-loving girl who genuinely enjoys attention and will happily solicit it. Frequently. Enthusiastically. If you're looking for a cat who will politely accept a few pets and then go about her business, Cashmere would like to formally withdraw her application. She wants the attention, she wants the companionship, and she would like you to understand that her schedule is currently very busy being adored.
But Cashmere also has boundaries, and she expects them to be respected. She is not a mean cat; she's simply a cat who communicates her feelings clearly and confidently. She's got opinions, she's got standards, and she's not interested in pretending otherwise. Basically, Cashmere has read the employee handbook on personal boundaries and intends to enforce it.
Because she can become overwhelmed enough to bite, we don't recommend Cashmere for a home with small children. She may also prefer to be the only cat in the household, although she could potentially coexist with another calm, confident feline with a slow and carefully managed introduction.
Cashmere is the kind of cat who will be an absolute delight for the right person: someone experienced, cat-savvy, and comfortable appreciating the entire spectrum of feline personality. She is gorgeous, affectionate, hilarious, confident, demanding, sweet, sassy, and occasionally a little bit extra. Cashmere has all the personality. She's just looking for someone who knows how to appreciate the whole collection.
