Hijinks

Meet Hijinks, a sweet little grey tabby who may not be quite as committed to causing chaos as her brother Hex, but she's certainly not opposed to joining in once she knows the coast is clear. Hijinks is the more reserved and thoughtful of the pair. She likes to take a moment to assess the situation before diving in, and fortunately, she has a very enthusiastic scout in her litter mate Hex. If Hex says the coast is clear, the humans are safe, the hand reaching out is definitely there for pets, and it's time to run around like a tiny maniac, Hijinks is usually right behind him. She takes a lot of confidence from her brother and seems to think, "Well, if he's doing it, I suppose it must be okay." Once Hijinks settles in and starts feeling comfortable, her playful side comes out. She loves to run, pounce, explore, and enjoy all the usual kitten shenanigans-just in a somewhat more subdued and dignified fashion than her brother. She's sweet, curious, and affectionate, and she's the kind of kitten who blossoms beautifully once she knows she's safe. Hijinks came to us with a large group of cats and is especially comfortable with her brother Hex. They aren't necessarily a bonded pair, but Hex's confidence clearly helps Hijinks feel brave, and the two make a wonderful little team. A home with another friendly, playful cat-especially Hex-would be a great fit for this sweet girl.
