Meet Jessa: Looking for a Little Peace and a Lot of Love 🧡 Jessa has had her world completely turned upside down. After being abandoned with another cat, this beautiful long-haired orange girl suddenly found herself in a shelter, surrounded by unfamiliar people and a whole new environment. And honestly? We can't blame her for being a little overwhelmed. Jessa is a very shy girl who is hesitant when meeting new people. She's not the type to immediately walk up and ask for attention. Instead, she tends to hang back and take some time to figure out who you are and whether she can trust you. She's going to need patience, understanding, and someone who won't expect her to adjust overnight. But Jessa's shyness doesn't mean she doesn't have love to give. It means her world has changed dramatically, and she's still trying to make sense of it. After everything she's been through, she deserves the chance to decompress and learn that she's safe again. We're hoping Jessa's next chapter can be a much quieter one. She needs someone who will give her the time and space to settle in, let her come out of her shell at her own pace, and understand that earning the trust of a shy adult cat can be an incredibly rewarding experience. She may not be the cat who runs to greet you on day one, but that doesn't mean she won't eventually learn that you are her person.
